we have a reason to party!
we raise our glasses to all the shows we went to, the people we met there, all those wasted days we would give our last coin for!
so, we try to make this day somehow unique, we´ll have a foto exhibition, some theatralic break outs and yummy yummy super fantastic vegan food (we´ll try our best!)
there will be a mixtape trading box! bring your mixtape with your favourite tunes, paint it, leave secret messages on it, do, whatever you think a mixtape should be like. if you want, you can bring your self made shirts or whatever and sell it there. you can sip champagne (but you have to bring it on your own) while watching the great concert photos of ANDI DVORAK, DANIEL EBERHARTER, ANDREI JAFARAU!
and meanwhile , SEPTEMBER MALEVOLENCE, DECIBELLES, EINSZWEIDREIVIER, WERNER KITZMÜLLER TRIO, AL BIRD DIRD AND THE FUCKED UPS will be playing their best set!
did we mention that we will cook vin brule..?
no? until 23h you can sit in the tüwi garden, discussing your best experiences with depilatory or whatever! vin brule will be served and falling stars will enlighten the event. romantic!

this gothenburg based band has nothing to
do with the mid-90..s deathmetal style in the likes of at the gates, so
give your neck a break, they..re more into creating atmospheric, slow
driven spaces, beautiful soundscapes backed up with engaging vocals.

if you are in wien, love to visit shows, it´s quite impossible to not meet one of those allrounders. they´re into booking shows, kicking out records, playing in bands and keeping the thing alive. beside that they make photographs of it all, so we´re fucking happy that they show us some of their pics at the wasteeeeeeeed dayyyyyyyyyys feeeest! oida!

Mixtapes

if anyone is wondering, 1) why for bogs sake we want you to make a mixtape, or 2) wtf a mixtape is:
point 1: if you make one, you get one in exchange! wow! really! a mixtape from a unknown person! you will discover new music or at least what the "unknown (real) person" thinks, what the ultimative music mix for you (yeah you) is.
a mixtape is something unique, with an artwork and a song list, that maybe changes your life forever!
point 2: a tape is a piece of plastic. watch wikipedia.

The Tüwi is a nice, friendly and independent place with a garden next to the türkenschanz park and the BOKU wien, the best place to hang around on a sunday evening!
